International Overdose Awareness Day, August 31

Join us the week of August 29th as we celebrate the living and honor those we’ve lost for International Overdose Awareness Day.  Come take part as we unveil our memorial wall, a living tribute to remember our friends and family that didn’t survive an overdose.

All week long, we’ll have free snacks and ice cream to help celebrate surviving overdose (even if you’ve never overdosed, you’re still a survivor).  Your life is worth celebrating and we hope you’ll share your story with us.

This is a safe space and this event is for you, our participants.  We’re not posting this event for the general public so come in and be free to express yourself, whatever that looks like.

Attention:

We will be participating in an organization-wide staff development and training this week.  Please note the change in hours.  We look forward to sharing what we learn with you when we return on Thursday.
